here's a breaking news: dad'd going to buy a plasma. yes, dear readers, a PLASMA.
i was totaly estatic when i heard it. my projection t.v is beyond repair. and what better time to buy something edgy? and also wanting the need to keep up with technology. thus, a plasma.
then i asked him: so what brand are we thinking of?
bad question.
he said he'd go to gain city or whatever-the-name-is and check it out. and when he went back, he told that the cheapest - CHEAPEST- was 2k. and i was like: uhh dad? plasmas are supposed to be expensive. and he went: oooooooooh~
adults these days.
anyway, it's(the plasma) some brand from malaysia. now, i'm not against malaysian products but, we all know that they're just flat out sucky. just look at the proton series! man, those suck to the core.
so i told him quality over quantity and he said that if we'd had the money, he'd opt for that pioneer plasma which is 4x as expensive as the malaysian brand. and by that time i was all teary eyed and imagining ps2-ing in HD*. shit, but i've to buy the cable for that beforehand. oh well, price to pay.

on a final note: HD BABY! NO MORE FUCKING GRAINY EFFECTS! BEHOLD, THE WONDERS OF HD ENTERTAINMENT!
and btw it's 42". that's as big as my current projection t.v!
*HD means High-Definition. put it simply, tv pictures looks much, much, much more clearer and much, much, much more saturated.
