last night or rather, this morning was spectacular. the 'ol buds were with me, ushering the new year at Marina Bay. the Esplanade to be exact. those present were: Fenderson, Firozi, Hidir, Ilyana and Suhaimi.
hidir had a gig at the Esplanade . Rifai, as usual played the guitar "mantat-ly" Hidir, what to say, played the drums like the talented guy he is. and Joel. that drunkard fool. meh.
then after, the six of us planned to hang out at the multi-story carpark (trust me, it's bliss up there). so after much walking and standing, and after 1 am in the morning and buses still packed with human sardins, we took a cab out of sheer desperation.
ate breakfast at Madhinatul's. great food. but wish Sam's with us. cause can get discount. we talked and talked and, well talked. record goes to Firozi and Suhaimi (Taufik Batisah) for the most number of laughs ever recorded per day. shit, from the moment we met, they were laughing their ass off at their jokes. albeit funny, i restrained myself from laughing. tried to be cool.
en route to the carpark, it rained. guess God said no. oh well. we decided then to head to Hidir's block to hang out there instead. but Hidir was far too tired, so he headed back home, which is literally a stone's throw away since we're under his void deck. so we sat under the void deck, or what Rafidah's theory suggests; an empty space, playing uno after uno after uno. Fenderson lost most of the game. unlucky, eh.
on a final note: Yana bought a striped beanie which looks uber fantastic from Topman. i guess when pay's due, splurge at Topman, Samuel & kelvin and this other shop that Hidir suggested. i couldn't remember.
think it's time to wear them beanies back, eh?
