reminiscing

yesterday was the ultimate. went raya-ing with my classmates (2004). don't know about them but i had a blast. how long was it when we were out together, i wonder? oh yea...just two months ago! but that was the chalet. and that too was a blast.

among us were: suhaimi, fenderson, firozi, hidir, chui teng, lilin, yana and myself included.

so the first house was yana's, seeing hers' was the furthers. her house was like a museum and those were her words. there's miniature guitars, pianos, motorbikes, trishaws and my ultimate favourite, the waterfall shrine. though that's not in miniature form. it sounds wierd at first but you have to see it to belive it. and everything ties in well like how this gramaphone (which was in working condition) sits perfectly on this victorian-ish drawer. among other things are a bongo and angklongs that, again, fits well to her home. and i guess her home was more of a rustic charm cum antiquitis dreams heaven. and hidir played some tunes on her keyboard as well! one was that of dream theater's i-forgot-which-song. i have bad neuron linkages. pardonnez moi.

after which we proceeded to firozi's. before hand, we decided to order pizza upon arriving. that alone sparks euphoria amongst us. true to his words, firozi ordered. while waiting for the delivery, we snooped around his house. and i gotta say this, your room reflects upon who you are. cause firozi's room clearly marks who he is as there's this orderly chaos about it. then we (3/4 of us) smoked away in his house like nobody's business. he didnt mind it though as his father is a smoker. ironically, he isn't. then the pizzas came. estatically, we prepared it and as kiasu singaporeans as we are, we grabbed it as fast as possible. leaving no crumbs nor traces of the pizza. then later on, the funniest thing happened. the curtians in firozi's living room fell. firozi however didnt show his panic and it was temporarily fixed by our ex-chariman, suhaimi. that man looks like taufik batisah but he usually denies it strongly. then we were on our way to amy's (suhaimi's).

amy's house was agreeable neater though he has working parents. his youngest sister looks adorable. i smiled at her but she bashfully turned away and ran to amy. but when yana smiled, she smiled back! dammit how'd she do that? ugh. we ate some mee siam that his mom cooked. and it was delicious. usually, when the food is delicious, the cook puts his heart and soul to it. and i could say the same to amy's mom. kudos to your delicious mee siam. and he has the biggest arowana i've seen. i mean, it's big! and it eats goldfish i'm told. after a brief time, we were off to fenderson's.

fenderson's house, i've seen ever so often. and i can't really recall what's new. cause i've regularly visited his house to notice anything new. except this massaging chair which was out of bounds for reasons unknown.

wait there's more! i'll fill this one later. haha.

on a final note: absence makes the heart grow fonder. man, i miss last year. cause everyone was there however bad they were.
