*gasp*

Cique du Soliel. the circus that brought you Saltimbanco and Alegria. and now, Quidam. i got the opportunity to catch Quidam. how or where should i start? there is just so much to talk about! from the visual artistry to the audio experience (!). yes, the sound system is as world class as the show itself.

Quidam's presentation is simply magical. it's minimalist approach probably did wonders. colors ranging from vivid red to pearly white are present everywhere. spotlights dust the audience with it's colorful lights, making them part of the props for the performers to play with.

Quidam, is something you should see, not hear. the performance is chocked full with abstrasity, color, personality and above all -- surprises, surprises and more surprises. it also suffers from ADHA. attention deficit blah-blah. cause there is SO much to look at to, that you find your eyes darting from one portion to the other. speaking about so much to look at, the details on it is astounding. from the costumes, to the performance and also it's products; mainly the masks.

i mentioned about the world class audio experience. already Quidam is filled with myrids of colors, they didn't compromise on the sound portion. a variety of genres ranging from ambience, to funk jazz and also turkish-influenced music are played. probably their "10.1" surround speakers did most of the wonders. with just perfect amount of treble and bass, it a joy ride unlike any other.

on a final note: dress nicely and people will ask you to take their phoographs for them. hey, it worked for me. got to take photo of this group of eurasian girls whom are, by the way, hottie-hot-hot. also some cute chinese girls neede my assistance. as would any gentlemen, i did their bidding. no questions asked. like a pet dog. woof.
