does anyone think that "reality television" is really real? i mean it is tv.
take survivor. my take is that it's 70% real. all that drama seems kinda cheesy to me. think it's all scripted. maybe there's this guy holding up a cardboard cue to prompt the "surviviors". if that's really true then what happens to the one million dollars? is it just an elaborate hoax? or is it the ultimate paycheck for the "winner". you know kinda like the pay or something like that.
then there's the amazing race. ok, so you're travelling around the world solving clues which are so linear. there's not much freedom in which you can solve it. there's only one way into solving it. it's pretty much like games played in some birthday party where to win you must do this and not having liberty to it in any other way. and then there's the ultimate prize. and it's only a million. i mean come on! the contestants travel to all sorts of places, risking thier rat's ass and you give them just a million? try 1.5. or two million. just for the fun of it. then it gets interesting.
on a final note: reality shows aren't that real to me. but still enjoyable cause you see homosapiens ripping throats at each other. maniacal kinda fun.
